Principal’s Message |
Dear Springer Families, Halloween Parade It does not seem possible it is already October with Halloween around the corner. We will have our annual parade on the 31st, at 1:15. Parents are invited to enjoy the festivities with us. As you shop for costumes, please remember these guidelines for the Springer Halloween Parade: Please no blood, weapons, or violent costumes. Also, students will not put their costumes on until after lunch so sending your students to school with the easier part of their costume to put on will be helpful. Why was the mummy so tense? Because he was all wound up:) WAT A big thank you to Claudine Sheridan, Donna Murphy and the many volunteers that made our Walk A Thon such a successful and fun event. We appreciate each family for your donation as this fundraiser affords us to support our classrooms, technology, art, music, and many other programs that help us provide a balanced education for our children. Springer is indeed a special community, and we are thankful for you being a part of our family. Go Stingers! Warmly, |
The Walk-A-Thon Committee Thanks You! |
Thank you to all our walkers, volunteers and sponsors for making this year's Walk-a-thon a success! A huge thank you to all of you that used PledgeStar to collect your pledges this year. That really helped save us time! Donors who made a pledge on PledgeStar have been sent an email with payment instructions. And all donors that made a pledge in PledgeStar will automatically receive a tax donation receipt once the payment is received. It’s not too late to make a donation if you did not make a pledge in PledgeStar! Donations may be sent to us via PayPal. Go to www.paypal.me/springerpta, and put Walkathon in the "Add a Note” section. Alternatively, you can mail a check (made out to the Springer PTA, with Walkathon in the memo line) to the school (ATTN: Walkathon) or drop it in the Walkathon cubby in the office. If you did not use PledgeStar, the PTA's Financial Secretary will send a tax receipt for donations over $250. For donations under $250, the canceled check may be used as a donation receipt. |
