Join Us for Back-To-School-Night

On Thursday, September 1st, Springer will host it’s annual Back-To-School-Night.  This important event gives parents the opportunity to meet their child’s teacher and hear about what’s in store for the school year in the classroom.  Teachers have 30 minutes to present information on curriculum, expectations, grading, and communication.  In order to serve the community the best way possible, we have the following schedule for September 1st.

6:00-6:30pm New Parent Informational Meeting in the Multi- This meeting is for any new families that have joined Springer this year.  Besides general school information, PTA and LAEF representatives will also be in attendance to answer any questions.

6:30-7:00pm Kindergarten and Room 19 (primary SDC)- presentations are in the classrooms

7:05-7:35pm Grades 1st through 3rd and Room 7 (upper SDC)- presentations are in the classrooms

7:40-8:10pm  Grades 4th through 6th- presentations are in the classrooms

It’s important to remember that, with just 30 minutes, teachers will only have time to review curriculum and protocols.  There will not be time for discussions with teachers about individual students.

WANTED:  Yard Duty Aides

Springer has a couple of paid positions for daily Yard Duty aides at lunch.  Serving as a Yard Duty aide is a great way to get connected to our students and work with them in a fun environment.  Hours are 11:45am to 12:45pm daily and training is provided.  Please contact me if you, or someone you know, might be interested at wspenader@springerschool.net
