Principal’s Message |
Dear Springer Families, We had over 200 students create amazing projects in the STEM Expo this year. The projects ranged from robot arms snatching up balls, to which car would travel fastest down a ramp, to creating a farm that produced more food. Over the last three days as I have viewed the incredible work that was created and produced and have watched the students proudly share their work with their peers and reviewers. Thanks to Ms. Craddock, our STEM teacher who headed up this event, the parent volunteers and the Mountain View High School Science Olympiad for being reviewers. It was an amazing event...can’t wait till next year. A Mahalo Nui Loa to our auction Co - Chairs Kirsten Tashev, Elizabeth Thompson and Rachel Michelson. They were the Superheroes with a cast full of support heroes as well. It was an amazing community event. Whether you were able to come and/or donate in any way thank you. Your support helps us all to continue to provide the best school experience for all students. A special thank you for all of the staff who were able to come to the auction. Lynn Boskie Principal Buzz… Did you know that I began playing competitive basketball in third grade. My family loved getting together and playing games in the drive, and I could be found in the wee hours of the night shooting baskets. |

OhmConnect: A Novel Fundraising Platform |
The Springer community started using a novel fundraising platform last year, called OhmConnect. We raised $930 last year, and $1500 this year by having a handful of parents of the school turn down their electricity usage just one hour per week. We're aiming to raise $5,000 this year and all you need to do is signup using this link and connect your utility account. OhmConnect donates between $50 - $150 per team member per year, depending on how much you reduce. They'll be donating an instant $75 per new team member. If you haven't signed up yet, now's the time to do it! |
